Job summary

Albany Medical College's Department of Anesthesiology is seeking fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologists at all ranks to join our team of dedicated pediatric anesthesia faculty. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, academically focused environment within the Capital Region's only academic medical center.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or equivalent).
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency.
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology is required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical care—provide safe anesthesia for infants, children, and adolescents in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Education—deliver didactic and hands-on instruction for residents, medical students, and student nurse anesthetists.
• Research—participate in or initiate clinical research; scholarly activity is supported.
• Collaboration—work with surgeons, nurses and perioperative team to optimize outcomes.
• Mentorship—guide trainees and junior faculty in professional growth.
