Job summary

The West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation are recruiting a Pain Medicine physiatrist to practice in Wheeling, WV.

Ideal candidates will have MD or DO, board certification/eligibility in PM&R, and fellowship in interventional spine or pain medicine, with a strong interest in education and research. Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows is expected with opportunities for electrodiagnostic and ultrasound-guided procedures.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with eligibility for state medical license.
• Board certified/eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Fellowship in interventional spine or pain/interventional sports.
• Commitment to teaching and research activities.

Responsibilities

• Practice in PM&R and interventional spine/pain management.
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Participate in electrodiagnostic evaluations and ultrasound-guided procedures.
• Contribute to education and research initiatives.
