The role includes an ophthalmology hospitalist service with inpatient and ER consultations, non-surgical opportunities, and substantial resident education. Opportunities for academic appointment with Harvard Medical School at Lecturer/Instructor/Assistant/Associate Professor levels are available, full- or part-time.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology.
• Strong interest in resident education and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive ophthalmology care including cataract surgery where applicable.
• Participate in ophthalmology emergency, consult, and hospitalist service.
• Contribute to inpatient and general ER consultations; non-surgical position with opportunities for procedures.
• Engage in resident teaching and academic activities.
