Job summary

Stony Brook University Medical Center invites applications for a full-time medical oncologist/hematologist to join the Division of Hematology and Oncology. Primary location will be Southampton, NY, with opportunities at the Stony Brook Cancer Center in Stony Brook, NY. Interest in clinical research and trials is encouraged.

Specialization in solid tumors including colorectal and/or GU cancers is preferred; hematology interest also considered. Tenure/non-tenure track, FLSA exempt.

Qualifications

• MD degree or foreign equivalent.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.

Responsibilities

• Active participation in clinical faculty practice including inpatient, consultative hematology, and oncology services.
• Active participation in clinical research is required.
• Contributions to teaching and educational mission of the Division are expected.
