Banner University Medical Center – Tucson, part of Banner Health and University of Arizona Health Network, is seeking an Academic Cardiologist to provide patient care, teaching and research. The role includes cardiology and non-invasive cardiac services for inpatients and outpatients, with participation in the cardiology section and scholarly activities as well as typical staff cardiologist duties.

The successful candidate will be BE/BC in Cardiovascular Disease, have fellowship in non-invasive

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Fellowship training in non-invasive Cardiology.
• One-year practice experience preferred.
• Team oriented, adaptable and comfortable working within a community hospital environment.
• Strong commitment to patient care, strong teaching and clinical skills and desire for translational research.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care, teaching and research.
• Provide cardiology and non-interventional cardiac care to inpatients and outpatients.
• Participate in activities of the cardiology section.
• Conduct research and perform academic responsibilities.
• Fulfill duties of a staff cardiologist.
