Job summary

UT Health San Antonio, Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, seeks a General Non-Invasive Cardiologist faculty at assistant/associate professor level. Start ASAP; high-volume clinical care and teaching at an academic medical center.

Candidate must hold MD/DO, complete a cardiovascular disease fellowship, be board certified or eligible, and be eligible for Texas licensure. Cardio-Oncology/Sports Cardiology expertise welcomed; university-affiliated hospital privileges included.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient general cardiology care with limited inpatient service responsibilities.
• Participate in consultative cardiology services at affiliated hospitals and clinics.
• Interpret and perform non-invasive cardiovascular procedures, including TTE, TEE, stress testing, and ambulatory rhythm monitoring.
• Collaborate with subspecialty cardiology and cardiovascular surgery.
• Contribute to access expansion, clinic growth, and service line development at UT Health San Antonio locations.
• Participate in an equitable call schedule aligned with divisional needs.
• Provide clinical teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows.
