Job summary

Banner University Medical Group Phoenix seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to serve as a key physician leader in expanding Banner's Neurosciences Program. The role blends a busy clinical neurosurgical practice (0.9 cFTE) with protected leadership duties (0.1 cFTE) to build an integrated Neurosurgical Oncology Program with Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
• Fellowship training in Neurosurgical Oncology (preferred)
• Leadership, program development, or administrative experience preferred
• Arizona medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Commitment to academic medicine and multidisciplinary collaboration

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Banner's Neurosciences expansion with clinical leadership and program strategy
• Provide high-level neurosurgical care within a growing regional program
• Educate residents and fellows as part of Banner University Medical Group’s academic mission
• Collaborate with Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center and neuroscience networks to advance patient care and research
