Job summary

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Neuromuscular Neurologist for an outpatient-focused role with 32 hours per week and generous time for new and follow-up visits. The position supports collaboration across a broad clinical team and offers an academic appointment with the Geisel School of Medicine.

EMG support staff and a diverse, multidisciplinary environment are available.

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Neurology with Neuromuscular Medicine subspecialty certification (AMBS or AOA).
• Ability to obtain/maintain NH medical license.
• Outpatient Neurology practice with 32 hours/week; 60-min new, 30-min follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient neuromuscular-focused care with option of academic activities.
• Collaborate with neurosurgery, psychiatry, social work, nursing, radiology, and primary care.
• Participate in teaching and potential research within Geisel School of Medicine.

Overview

Dartmouth Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Neuromuscular Neurologist to join our growing team. This position offers a unique opportunity to specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular disorders within a collaborative academic environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in patient care, medical education, and research, depending on interest.

Overview:

• Outpatient position with 32 clinical hours per week


• 60 minutes for new appointments; 30 minutes for follow-ups


• No call, nights, or weekends


• EMG techs to help support providers


• Collaboration with neurosurgery, psychiatry, social work, nursing, radiology, and primary care


• 8 hours of administrative time each week


• Academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College
