Job summary

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Neuromuscular Neurologist to join our expanding team. This outpatient role emphasizes diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular disorders within an academic setting, with a focus on patient care, education, and potential research collaborations.

The position offers 32 clinical hours per week, long appointment times (60 minutes for new patients, 30 minutes for follow-ups), no on-call duties, and collaboration

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Neurology with Neuromuscular Medicine subspecialty certification (AMBS or AOA).
• Ability to obtain/maintain New Hampshire medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient neuromuscular neurology care in an academic environment.
• Collaborate with neurosurgery, psychiatry, social work, nursing, radiology and primary care.
• Participate in education and research initiatives as interests allow.

Job description

Dartmouth Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Neuromuscular Neurologist to join our growing team. This position offers a unique opportunity to specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular disorders within a collaborative academic environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in patient care, medical education, and research, depending on interest.

Overview:

• Outpatient position with 32 clinical hours per week
• 60 minutes for new appointments; 30 minutes for follow-ups
• No call, nights, or weekends
• EMG techs to help support providers
• Collaboration with neurosurgery, psychiatry, social work, nursing, radiology, and primary care
• 8 hours of administrative time each week
• Academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College
