The University of Chicago’s Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science invites applications for full-time faculty in neuro-ophthalmology at any rank. Responsibilities include patient care in neuro-ophthalmology, potential comprehensive ophthalmology practice, and teaching residents and medical students at Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine or other sites.

Applicants should have a medical doctorate or equivalent, be or become licensed in Illinois, and have completed an ophthalmology

Qualifications

• Must have medical doctorate or equivalent.
• Must hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Illinois.
• Must have completed an ophthalmology residency or its equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care in neuro-ophthalmology.
• Teach and supervise ophthalmology residents and medical students; engage in scholarly activity.
• Contribute to management of neuro-ophthalmology patients and participate in academic activities.
