Job summary

The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at UC Irvine is recruiting a board eligible/certified Neuro-Ophthalmologist for all ranks (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor) in either the non-tenure track Health Sciences Clinical Professor series (non-senate) or the Professor of Clinical laid “X” series (senate).

Applicants must hold an MD, DO, MD/PhD, DO/PhD, or equivalent and be eligible for California Medical Licensure.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MD/PhD or equivalent required
• CA medical licensure eligibility required
• Board eligible/certified in Neurology or Ophthalmology preferred

Responsibilities

• Teaching Neuro-Ophthalmology fellows, Ophthalmology/Neurology residents, and medical students
• Demonstrate professional competence and activity
• Engage in scholarly/creative activity and academic achievement
• Contribute to university and public service missions
