Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time Academic Nephrologist (Assistant or Associate Professor) to join our Division of Nephrology and Hypertension. This role involves inpatient consults, teaching, and participation in renal transplant services within an academically rich environment.

The successful candidate will contribute to outpatient CKD programs, hypertension clinics, and translational research while working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification in Nephrology.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in nephrology subspecialty care.
• Strong commitment to medical education and mentorship.
• Interest or experience in clinical research is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient consult and teaching services.
• Participation in renal transplant services.
• Outpatient hemodialysis patient care.
• Hypertension referral clinic.
• Comprehensive CKD outpatient program.
