Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and contribute to the Complex Benign Gynecology Program.

The successful candidate will join a growing regional referral practice focused on advanced benign gynecologic disease, minimally invasive surgery, multidisciplinary care, education, and academic development.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school, NY license eligibility
• Successful completion of a MIGS fellowship
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation and longitudinal management of patients with complex benign gynecologic conditions
• Perform advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery including complex laparoscopic and robotic procedures
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary care pathways across gynecologic imaging, urology, colorectal surgery, and gynecologic oncology
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care within the complex benign gynecology practice
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents, including operative education
• Engage in quality improvement, outcomes measurement, research, and scholarly activity
• Contribute to the development of Albany Medical Center's Complex Benign Gynecology Program
