Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time, fellowship trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and contribute to the continued development of its Complex Benign Gynecology Program.

The successful candidate will join a growing regional referral practice focused on advanced benign gynecologic disease, minimally invasive surgery, multidisciplinary care, education, and academic development.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and NY license eligibility.
• Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery completed.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with complex benign gynecologic conditions.
• Perform advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including robotic procedures.
• Expand multidisciplinary care pathways for pelvic disease with related specialties.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care within the complex benign gynecology practice.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents in MIS and gynecologic surgery.
• Engage in quality improvement, outcomes research, and scholarly activity.
