Albany Medical Center seeks a full-time academic fellowship trained microsurgeon to join our Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The successful candidate will have access to state-of-the-art operating facilities with a competitive salary and opportunities for teaching and research.

Qualified applicants must hold an MD or DO, have completed an approved Plastic Surgery residency, be board eligible or certified, and hold or obtain NY licensure and DEA certification.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required with successful completion of an approved Plastic Surgery residency.
• Board eligible/certified in Plastic Surgery.
• NY licensure (MD/DO) and DEA certification required or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Breast microsurgery.
• Head and neck microvascular and general reconstruction.
• Lower extremity microvascular and general reconstruction.
• General reconstruction.
• Provider will be obligated to take hand on-call.
