Job summary

The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates Inc., affiliated with The George Washington University, seeks full-time faculty in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine within Obstetrics and Gynecology. Responsibilities include providing excellent patient care to hospitalized patients and clinical care as well as consultations

Qualifications

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, or on track for MFM certification.
• Eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
• Full-time faculty appointment in Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient patient care and consultations; teach residents and medical students; maintain an active research portfolio.
• MFM specialists typically work 5–7 half-day clinical sessions, with three half-days for surgery, administration, and scholarly work; on-call daytime, weekend, and night duties including labor and delivery.
