Intuitive is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager, Academics, to collaborate with academic medical centers and societies to drive formal endorsements, standardized training, and programmatic best practices for the da Vinci and Ion platforms.

You will align with Marketing, Product, Digital, Customer Training, and Key Accounts to standardize curricula, mentorship, and scalable training—accelerating adoption across institutions while advancing the academic mission through data, research, and faculty

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Health Sciences, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, or related) preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years in marketing, partnerships, or program management in healthcare/medical device sectors with academic or society engagement.
• Expertise: Proven success forging partnerships with academic institutions or societies and driving curricular initiatives.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to engage senior leaders to residents and fellows.
• Analytical: Proficient in market/data analysis to translate insights into strategies.
• Leadership: Strong track record managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% to academic sites, conferences, and events.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute Academic Total Program Observations across major Academic Medical Centers.
• Develop and execute Academic IDN Summits across healthcare networks to shape customer growth.
• Create strategic academic engagement platforms—executive forums, national user conferences, peer education.
• Liaise with Academic Key Accounts to scale influencer marketing across systems.
• Elevate early practice alumni as thought leaders and champions of da Vinci adoption.
• Develop academic faculty KOLs to influence program directors and adoption strategies.
• Engage thought leaders at Intuitive events to drive belief and adoption of da Vinci and Ion.
• Create scalable paths for residents to early practice roles in da Vinci/Ion.
• Collaborate with Market Activation to craft messaging for academic centers and clinicians.
• Highlight case studies across the country showcasing training and adoption outcomes.
