Job summary

The University of Utah is seeking an Academic Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician for the Lung Transplant Program in Salt Lake City. The ideal candidate will join the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Assistant/Associate/Professor levels, focusing on evaluation and peri/post-transplant care, with opportunities in teaching and research.

Applicants must have an MD, ABIM board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care, and Utah licensure; transplant experience

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess a Medical Degree, be ABIM board certified, Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and must be eligible for a medical licensure in the state of Utah.
• Preference will be given to individuals with transplant experience.

Responsibilities

• Care of lung transplant patients, including initial evaluation, peri-transplant care and post-transplant care at University of Utah Hospital and Clinics.
• Join existing clinical, educational and research programs within the Lung Transplant program.
• Participate in Division's clinical, educational and research activities.
