Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Transplant Hepatologist to join the Division of Transplant Surgery within the Department of Surgery in Boston, MA. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing academic liver transplant program.

The successful candidate will deliver exceptional patient care, collaborate with transplant surgeons and hepatologists across Tufts Medicine, and participate in teaching, research, and program development to expand

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Fellowship trained in Transplant Hepatology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Interest in academic medicine, teaching, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic liver disease in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-liver transplant care including evaluations and waitlist management.
• Collaborate with transplant surgeons and other specialists to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans and participate in clinical research.
• Engage in education and mentorship of fellows, residents, and students.
