Job summary

LSU Health New Orleans seeks an experienced pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon for an academic faculty position at the ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. Responsibilities include clinical care, research, and teaching, with clinical activities centered at Manning Family Children’s, a full service regional facility.

Leadership opportunities exist within the department and partner hospital administration.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required.
• BE/BC in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery and Congenital Cardiac Surgery; Louisiana license before hire.
• Academic rank determined by qualifications, experience and stature.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care, conduct research, and teach in pediatric cardiothoracic surgery.
• Clinical activities centered at Manning Family Children’s Hospital.
• Explore leadership opportunities within department and partner administration.
