Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs seeks a part-time extracurricular intervention facilitator at Baileysville Elementary and Middle School to provide targeted interventions for identified students. The role is contract/hourly with up to 50 days, paying $200 per day, funded under ESEA Title 1.

Collaborate with classroom teachers, school leadership, and the county curriculum department to review data and plan intervention strategies, while engaging in professional development for effective instructional

Qualifications

• A valid West Virginia Teaching Certificate.
• Minimum Five (5) years teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide intervention services to identified students needing additional instruction.
• Collaborate with core and support teachers, school principal, and county curriculum department to analyze student performance data and plan intervention strategies.
• Participate in and utilize professional development relevant to instructional delivery of a high quality standards-based program.
• Implement and follow the county model in the delivery of instructional intervention strategies.
• Submit required documents in a timely manner.
