Job summary

The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking physicians to join our outpatient faculty group in Albuquerque, NM. We provide high-quality primary care with affiliated clinical pharmacists, behavioral health support, and care management teams.

Clinicians will also supervise residents, contribute to medical student education, and participate in leadership opportunities across academic roles.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in General Internal Medicine or Preventive Medicine by date of hire.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based primary care.
• Supervise Internal Medicine residents during continuity clinic.
• Engage in medical student education and leadership roles.
• Participate in scholarly activities and quality improvement initiatives.
