Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• Eligible for or holding an active New York State medical license.
• Experience or strong interest in ambulatory teaching, curriculum development, and medical education scholarship.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered primary care.
• Interest in contributing to health equity and serving diverse patient populations.
• Prior teaching experience in a residency or medical school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Precept Internal Medicine residents in our ambulatory Primary Care Practice on the Upper East Side
• Maintain a longitudinal primary care panel within a Lenox Hill Hospital primary care Faculty Practice
• Educate, evaluate, and mentor Internal Medicine residents across all training tracks
• Contribute to the academic and scholarly mission of the Division through curriculum development, quality improvement, and medical education research
• Collaborate with faculty on educational innovation and program development
