Job summary

Lenox Hill Hospital / Northwell Health seeks board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine physicians for a full-time Clinician Educator Faculty Position. This academic appointment is through the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell with rank commensurate with experience.

The role combines primary care with a strong medical education mission, offering opportunities to shape training for future internists in a leading New York residency program and to advance scholarly work in a

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Eligible for or holding an active New York State medical license.
• Experience or strong interest in ambulatory teaching, curriculum development, and/or medical education scholarship.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered primary care.
• Interest in contributing to health equity and serving diverse patient populations.
• Prior teaching experience in a residency or medical school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Precept Internal Medicine residents in our ambulatory Primary Care Practice on the Upper East Side.
• Maintain a longitudinal primary care panel within a Lenox Hill Hospital Faculty Practice.
• Educate, evaluate, and mentor Internal Medicine residents in the ambulatory space.
• Contribute to the academic and scholarly mission of the Division through curriculum development, quality improvement, and medical education research.
• Collaborate with faculty on educational innovation and program development.
