Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia seeks an Inpatient Pulmonologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to join the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy & Critical Care Medicine and the Jane & Leonard Korman Respiratory Institute. The role focuses on patient care, teaching, and scholarly activity.

Responsibilities include inpatient consults, multidisciplinary rounds, and mentorship of fellows, residents, and medical students, with involvement in clinical research and quality

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of an accredited Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Pulmonary Disease (Critical Care certification a plus).
• Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pulmonary consultative care and ongoing management.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with hospital teams.
• Teach and mentor pulmonary/critical care fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Contribute to clinical research, quality improvement, and scholarly activities.
• Engage in the academic mission of a leading pulmonary division with 35 active faculty.
