Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician with an interest in academic medicine to join their team. The successful candidate will be board certified or board eligible in infectious disease and will be given an academic appointment that will be commensurate with experience.

This is a full-time role in adult infectious disease working inpatient consultation with one half clinic day per week.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in infectious disease or board-eligible.
• Academic appointment commensurate with experience.
• Full-time inpatient infectious disease with one half clinic day per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient infectious disease consultations.
• Collaborate with hospital teams across disciplines.
• Support Antibiotic Stewardship program involvement.
• Weekend call anticipated as 1:5.
• Engage with telemedicine to connect with affiliated hospitals.
