Job summary

Premier Physician Network (PPN) and Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine seek a full-time Infectious Disease faculty physician to educate medical students, residents, and fellows while delivering care at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

The role includes acute care consults, APP collaboration, antimicrobial stewardship, and opportunities to participate in teaching and research within a leading academic health system.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency status required.
• MD, DO or MBBS degree required.
• Completed Internal Medicine residency required.
• Completed or currently enrolled in Infectious Disease fellowship required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease preferred.
• Ohio Medical License and Federally issued DEA License required.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care Infectious Disease consults with some outpatient responsibilities.
• Collaborate with APPs.
• Engage in Antimicrobial Stewardship Center of Excellence through IDSA.
• Teach and supervise residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Participate in didactic teaching, journal clubs, clinical conferences, and other teaching activities.
• Contribute to clinical care, research, and teaching missions of the division.
