Academic HR Analyst 3 (ACAD HR ANL 3)
Job Summary
The position responsibilities include academic employee recruitment, appointment, advancement, management of leaves of absence, problem and conflict resolution, and separation. Responsibilities also include oversight of payroll activities for academic employees in partnership with the HR Business Partner. This position advises the Department Chair, CAO, HRBP, Division Chiefs, and Division Managers, on academic personnel timelines and processes, trends, and problem/conflict resolutions. The position works with the Dean's office to monitor the department's state-funded FTE positions, implementation of academic processes and facilitates academic personnel actions in collaboration with other Schools, Colleges and Departments at UC Davis.

Department Description
The Department of Internal Medicine is the largest department in the School of Medicine and on the UC Davis campus, and includes approximately 600 academic personnel: 250 faculty titles, 50 other academic titles, and approximately 300 volunteer clinical faculty appointments. The Academic Personnel Analyst in Internal Medicine is part of a team that manages academic actions for assigned divisions.
