Job summary

Penn Medicine's Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia is seeking a part-time Hospitalist to join the team. The role will be split 50% days and 50% nights, focusing on clinical care and medical education on a teaching service with a closed ICU.

Candidates must hold a medical degree, be board-eligible or certified in Internal or Family Medicine, and obtain PA licensure. USMLE steps must be completed and DEA registration is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a medical degree or foreign equivalent.
• Board certified or eligible in Internal or Family Medicine.
• Active PA medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Successful completion of USMLE Step 1, 2, and 3.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care on teaching services and non-teaching service.
• Contribute to observation Medicine and consult/co-management services.
• Participate in medical student and resident education.

Education
