Job summary

The Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine is seeking a BC/BE internist to join UNC-Chapel Hill faculty as an academic hospitalist. This Open Rank, Fixed Term position offers opportunities at both the Chapel Hill campus and the Hillsborough state-of-the-art facility, with direct provision of clinical care on teaching and non-teaching services.

Qualifications

• MD degree with residency in Internal Medicine or combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible Internists or Combined Internal Medicine-Pediatric Physicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care as an academic hospitalist on teaching and non-teaching services.
• Work at UNC-Chapel Hill and Hillsborough facilities as part of a collaborative division.
• Open Rank, Fixed Term; FTE negotiable from .75 to 1.0; generous benefits and CME allowance.
