Job summary

Aoiassn is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician to join our academic palliative care program at Banner University Medical Center Tucson. The successful candidate will work closely with an interdisciplinary team focused on providing inpatient palliative care for adult patients with serious illness.

The role includes teaching responsibilities at the University of Arizona and opportunities for collaborative outpatient clinic participation. A comprehensive benefits package including sign-on and relocation assistance, legal, medical, dental and vision coverage, and wellness programs is offered.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Hospice & Palliative Medicine.
• Primarily involved in inpatient palliative care consultation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality palliative care for adult patients with serious illness.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in interdisciplinary education and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
