Job summary

UPMC Altoona Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship is seeking an ABFM or AOBFP certified family medicine or internal medicine physician with board eligibility or board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine to join our team as a faculty attending physician.

Our fellowship provides inpatient, outpatient, and nursing home palliative care, with a strong teaching component and collaboration with the family medicine residency.

Qualifications

• ABFM or AOBFP certified in family medicine or internal medicine with board eligibility or board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
• Experience in academic medicine preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient palliative care consultations and management.
• Oversight of residents on geriatric rotations and precepting residents in the family medicine office.
