Job summary

University of Louisville invites an experienced, board-certified advanced heart failure cardiologist to join our HF/VAD/Transplant program. The role involves independent patient care, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and collaborative work with our surgical team.

The successful candidate will participate in clinical trials and scholarly activity, with a track record in heart failure, transplant, and device therapies in a leading transplant center since 1984.

Qualifications

• Board-certified advanced heart failure cardiologist with HF/VAD/Transplant experience.
• Experience teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced HF fellows.
• Willingness to participate in clinical trials and scholarly work.

Responsibilities

• Teach medical students, house staff, and cardiology fellows including Advanced Heart Failure fellows.
• Participate in HF and VAD clinical service in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with surgical team for transplant and device cases.
