The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston seeks an academically oriented Hematopathologist with board certification. The quaternary center includes Hollings Cancer Center and a broad translational research footprint, with ongoing NIH funding and active bone marrow transplant and transplant programs.

You will participate in clinical and surgical hematopathology, flow cytometry interpretation, and molecular testing, mentor residents and fellows, and contribute to scholarly

Formación

• MD/DO or equivalent with pathology specialty training and ABPath certification
• Board certification/eligibility in Hematopathology
• Eligibility for medical licensure in South Carolina
• Additional subspecialty expertise in a second area (e.g. Molecular Genetic Pathology) preferred

Responsabilidades

• Instruct medical students and participate in training pathology residents and hematology fellows
• Engage in clinical and translational research endeavors
• Provide hematopathology services including flow cytometry interpretation and molecular testing coordination
• Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to support patient care and lab operations
