Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, SC seeks an academically oriented, board-certified Hematopathologist. Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with pathology specialty training and ASP certification by ABPath in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
• Board certification/eligibility in Hematopathology
• Eligibility for medical licensure in South Carolina
• Proficiency in flow cytometry and molecular techniques for clinical work-up
• Experience in fostering collaborative relationships with clinicians and researchers
• Participation in clinical and/or translational research endeavors
• Instructing medical students and pathology residents; mentoring hematology fellows

Responsibilities

• Instruct medical students and pathology residents; participate in hematology programs
• Collaborate with clinicians and researchers; support laboratory services
• Contribute to clinical and translational research in hematopathology
• Manage and interpret flow cytometry, cytogenetic and molecular data
• Participate in team-based hematology laboratory services
