Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks an academic Hematopathologist with sub-specialty training for a tenure-track/tenured, fixed-term, or variable track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Primary service in hematopathology with potential leadership as Director of Hematopathology.

Active involvement in teaching within the School of Medicine and collaboration with UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center is anticipated, with opportunities

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board certification/eligibility in Hematopathology.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Clinical or Anatomic Pathology.
• Eligible to obtain a medical license in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Academic Pathologist with sub-specialty training in Hematopathology and leadership potential.
• Tenure-track/tenured, fixed-term, or variable track faculty position at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
• Teaching and research opportunities within UNC-Chapel Hill and affiliated centers.
