Qualifications

• MD degree required and ABIM eligible or certified in Hematology or Hematology-Oncology.
• Strong commitment to academic medicine and clinical teaching.
• Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration and translational research.
• Involvement in fellowship teaching and medical student education.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient care in classical hematology at UPMC/UPMC-affiliated facilities.
• Offer consultation on complex hemostasis and thrombosis cases in the context of surgeries, transplantation, and maternal-fetal medicine.
• Engage in translational and basic research, clinical trials, and multidisciplinary programs.
• Participate in Division and department scientific conferences and mentoring of trainees.
