Job summary

The Division of Hematology and Oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham is seeking a hematologist to join our lymphoma team. The position includes involvement with cell therapy and CART, with leadership roles available.

Appointments may be at assistant, associate, or full professor levels with tenure options depending on experience. Responsibilities include teaching fellows and residents, providing outpatient and inpatient services, and conducting clinical research to advance patient

Qualifications

• MD required for the position.
• Board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Oncology.
• Eligible for Alabama medical license.

Responsibilities

• Teach fellows and internal medicine residents.
• Clinical outpatient service 2-3 days per week.
• Inpatient service 10-12 weeks per year.
• Contribute to clinical research.
