Job summary

UT Tyler School of Medicine in Tyler, TX is seeking a full-time BC/BE Gynecologic Oncology faculty member to join the UT Health East Texas system. The role involves a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient duties, teaching residents, and access to the da Vinci system for advanced surgeries.

You will collaborate with medical and surgical oncology teams and participate in clinical trials and research initiatives within the UT Health East Texas network.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Gynecologic Oncology.
• Experience educating residents in an academic medical setting.
• Interest in collaborating on clinical trials and research initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Split time between outpatient clinic (2–3 days) and the operating room (2–3 days).
• Oversee chemotherapy clinic as needed.
• Collaborate with OBGyn, Medical Oncology, and other specialists for patient care.
