Tufts Medicine is seeking an outstanding Academic Geriatric Psychiatrist to join our growing faculty at the new Tufts Medicine Behavioral Health Hospital in Malden, Massachusetts. You will care for older adults with complex psychiatric illness in a leading academic environment, with opportunities in teaching and translational research.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• ABPN Added Qualification in Geriatric Psychiatry preferred but not required.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Massachusetts.
• DEA registration (or eligibility).
• CPR certification and de-escalation training (training provided on hire).
• Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration, teaching, and academic medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and treatment for older adults in inpatient geriatric psychiatry.
• Lead clinical development, quality improvement, and growth of the inpatient geriatric program.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues across psychiatry, neurology, geriatric medicine, psychology, nursing, and more.
• Contribute to dementia care, neuropsychiatry, neuromodulation and behavioral health research.
