UC Irvine Health's Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the Health Sciences Clinical Series at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. The role includes outpatient care at SeniorHealth Center and clinics in Laguna Hills and Irvine, plus inpatient consults and skilled nursing facility opportunities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution with clinical training and experience.
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, and board eligibility/certification in Geriatric Medicine.
• Strong teaching abilities and eligibility for UC Irvine Medical Center staff privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient geriatric care within an interdisciplinary team.
• Engage in medical education and mentorship of students, residents and fellows.
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers, psychologists, pharmacists, and social workers.
