Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time faculty member to join the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This is a busy, academic setting with access to a wide range of clinical, surgical, and educational resources.

The successful candidate will provide general obstetrical and gynecological care, participate in hospital and home call coverage, and engage in teaching medical students and residents.

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Eligible for or currently licensed in New York State.
Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Interest in teaching and academic medicine.

Responsibilities

Provide general obstetrical and gynecological care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Participate in hospital and home call coverage.
Engage in teaching medical students and residents.
