ACADEMIC GENERAL NEUROLOGIST

DEPARTMENT OF NEUROLOGY
Brigham and Women’s Hospital is seeking an academic neurologist with strong interest and expertise in general neurology. The candidate will have the opportunity to develop a clinical practice across the urban medical center and community-based campuses and integrate with academic divisions to pursue academic interests in research and training of residents, fellows, and medical students. Participation in inpatient and consultation services are available. Hospital appointment as Associate Neurologist and academic title of Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School is commensurate with experience and scholarship in the field. Candidates should possess a Massachusetts license to practice medicine and be board-eligible or certified in Neurology. The ideal candidate should have a strong record as a clinical general neurologist and be passionate about patient care and academics. Further, a strong commitment to teaching is required as it is expected that the candidate engage in education of the Harvard community a minimum of 50 hours per year.
