Job summary

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Utah invites applications for a full-time board-certified, or board eligible, General Cardiologist with an interest in academic practice. This faculty role offers opportunities to provide clinical care, teaching, and participate in research within a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will join fourteen general cardiologists and engage in inpatient and outpatient services, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and education

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine by ABIM.
• Board-certified or willing to sit for Adult Echocardiography by NBME.
• Board-certified or willing to sit for Nuclear Cardiology by CBCNC.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Utah.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology services.
• Participate in rotations in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
• Engage in academic programs, medical education, teaching, and research.
• Mentor and educate medical students, residents, and fellows.
