Job summary

We are seeking a Family Medicine Faculty Physician (MD/DO) to join an academic outpatient healthcare organization with an affiliated Family Medicine residency program. The role combines direct patient care with teaching, supervision, and mentorship across the full scope of practice, including obstetrics, in a collaborative academic environment.

Responsibilities include supervising residents, providing inpatient coverage several times per year, participating in didactics and curriculum

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine.
• Active state medical license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a family medicine continuity clinic.
• Supervise and mentor residents in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Precept residents regularly and support clinical skill development.
• Participate in clinical sessions with integrated resident supervision.
• Provide inpatient attending coverage several times per year.
• Perform and supervise family medicine procedures, including obstetrics as applicable.
• Participate in resident education through didactics and curriculum development.
• Engage in scholarly activities and quality improvement.
• Collaborate with faculty, residents, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain high-quality, patient-centered care across preventive, acute, and chronic conditions.
