Job summary

EVMS Medical Group seeks an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in the Facial Plastic Surgery division in Norfolk, Virginia. This full-time clinical faculty member delivers comprehensive surgical and nonsurgical care to adults and children with reconstructive, functional, congenital, traumatic, and aesthetic facial conditions.

Responsibilities include outpatient care, operative management, teaching, scholarly activity, and participation in clinical programs, with a focus

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Residency completed in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
• Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, or equivalent.
• Board eligible or board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
• Eligible for unrestricted Virginia medical license and clinical privileges.
• Eligible for appointment at Assistant Professor rank.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive facial plastic and reconstructive surgery for adults and children.
• Lead and participate in multidisciplinary care and conferences.
• Supervise learners and contribute to education.
• Engage in scholarly activity and program development.
• Support division and department quality, access, and service priorities.
