Qualificações

• MD or DO degree, or equivalent medical degree meeting applicable institutional and Alabama medical licensure requirements.
• Successful completion of an ACGME accredited Neurology residency program.
• Fellowship training in Vascular Neurology and Neuroendovascular Surgery or Neurointerventional Neurology, as applicable to the position.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Neurology through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
• Eligibility for an unrestricted Alabama medical license prior to beginning clinical responsibilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, academic medicine, and collaborative patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advanced endovascular evaluation and treatment for acute ischemic stroke, intracranial aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, carotid artery disease, dural arteriovenous fistulas, and other neurovascular disorders.
• Deliver comprehensive neurointerventional care at USA Health University Hospital, a major regional referral center.
• Collaborate with Neurology, Neurosurgery, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Radiology, and Rehabilitation teams to coordinate multidisciplinary patient care.
• Participate in the evaluation and management of patients with complex cerebrovascular conditions.
• Support the continued growth and development of vascular neurology and neurointerventional services throughout USA Health.
• Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, as applicable.
• Contribute to academic and scholarly activities consistent with faculty appointment expectations.
• Participate in departmental initiatives focused on clinical quality, patient safety, and improved patient outcome
