Qualifikationen

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited General Surgery residency required.
• Endocrine Surgery fellowship training strongly preferred or substantial experience.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Surgery.
• Eligible for West Virginia medical licensure.

Aufgaben

• Help expand a busy endocrine surgery practice including thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal surgery.
• Participate in a collaborative, multidisciplinary endocrine care model.
• Provide broad-spectrum general surgery care in support of the Division.
• Participate in shared acute care surgery call, with weekend call averaging approximately one weekend per month.
• Engage actively in the teaching of medical students and general surgery residents.
• Contribute to academic initiatives, quality improvement, and potential research within endocrine and general surgery.
