Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited General Surgery residency.
• Endocrine Surgery fellowship training or substantial endocrine surgery experience.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Surgery.
• Eligible for West Virginia medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Expand endocrine surgery practice including thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal surgery.
• Participate in a collaborative multidisciplinary endocrine care model.
• Provide broad-spectrum general surgery support for the division.
• Share acute care surgery call with weekend coverage.
• Engage in teaching medical students and general surgery residents.
• Contribute to academic initiatives, quality improvement, and potential research.
