Job summary

Yale New Haven Hospital seeks an academic podiatric foot and ankle surgeon to serve as Program Director of the CPME-accredited Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency Program.

This role combines strategic educational leadership with clinical practice, program administration, and mentorship of residents, faculty development, and scholarly activity in partnership with Yale New Haven Health and the Yale School of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree required.
• Board Certification by ABFAS or eligible for certification.
• Eligibility for Connecticut medical licensure and hospital privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and educational leadership for the residency program.
• Oversee CPME accreditation compliance and program operations.
• Coordinate clinical rotations and curriculum across affiliated sites.
• Recruit and mentor faculty; advance scholarly activity and quality improvement.
• Represent the program in Graduate Medical Education initiatives.
